My 8.5 years son had his first fits / siezers at the age of 2 than second in 4 years of age both were considered febrile fits and now recently in the age of 8.5 years he had series of very minor siezers, my son was diagnosed three years back as a ADD / ADHD as well. All the time we gone for EEG and CT scan was normal except this time EEG was not normal due to which doctors started Siezunil initially 2.5ml twice a day and after level in the blood check and lever function test it is being raised to 5ml (one spoon) twice a day. before recent episode of siezers I put him in boarding where he was not sleeping properly and use to drink lots of cold drinks now I took him out of boarding house and put him in a normal school. His Psychiatrist gave 2 drops of respedrol every night but his ADHD symptoms are not at all improving. In my opinion his siezures were related to his depression and drinking of pepsi and colas for almost every day during his three months boarding period. please help as I want to help my son in his life.
