Are Burning And Itching Sensation On The Back Due To Shingles Vaccine?

I am a 63 year old female who received the shingle shot on February 25th. I had no problem with the injection. The past week, I have had a burning, itchy area on the left side of my back. No redness or rash is present. Should I be concerned about shingles? Thank you, Connie

General & Family Physician 's  Response
Hi connie from my opinion I am believing that there might be a relationship between the shingles vaccine and the burning itchy sensations you are developing most vaccines that are injection preparation do give rise to some form of allergic reaction you can take allergin tablet if it gets more serious than this
