Are Blood During Bowel Movement And Pain In Lower Stomach Symptoms Of Bowel Cancer?

Hi there, I am a healthy 17 year old girl, I bleed when going to the loo...I have had this for a while now and I had heard about bowel cancer but I thought it was nothing, until recently when I go running after a certain amount of time I get pains in my lower tummy, it's akin to period pains, and i feel sick at the same time...Is it possible I have bowel cancer?? Thank you.

General Surgeon 's  Response
hi...getting a bowel cancer at this age is very rare...your symptoms suggest you are having haemorrhoids...show to a surgeon and get a proctoscopy done to arrive at a diagnosis...regarding the pain in abdomen while running....its kind of normal when you start it, slowly your body gets adjusted to the new stress...
