Are Bleeding With Cramps Normal Post Medical Abortion?

Hi, I had a medical (pill) abortion five days ago. I have been bleeding and cramping as expected. Today however I have developed an intense pressure on my lower abdomen. The feeling is similar to a bladder infection. It is also painful. Is this a normal type of cramping or something else?

Understand your concern
Bleeding and cramps are normal after abortion, but it should be there for maximum 7 days. Bleeding and cramps after 7 days suggests some abnormality like incomplete abortion and infection.

As per your history you have pressor on bladder area, it may be due to infections.(lower urinary tract infection as abortion increase the chance of infection).
To rule out that you should consult the doctor and get the done following investigation to rule out infections: urine: routine, microscopic and culture, CBC, urea, Creatinine, swab test.
USG should be done after 14 days for retain products

Meanwhile take proper rest, tablet meftal spas and healthy diet.
