Are Wellbutrin And Pristiq A Good Combination?
I have been taking for the last 5 years 300mg Wellbutrin with good results until 6 months ago. As a result my doc increased the dose to 450mg with no result. Today she prescribed me 50mg pristiq plus 300mg of Wellbutrin. I guess she did not want me to stop Wellbutrin altogether. How do these two meds interact? Is it ok to take both at the same time ? Thank you.

It is fine to take the two medications together. Wellbutrin can counteract some of the side effects of pristiq so they are often prescribed together. Adding a small dose of a medication like pristiq to Wellbutrin is a common practice. If you feel overmedicated then tell your doctor but the combination works well for many people.
