Are Mifty Kit Tablets Effective To Terminate Pregnancy?
Doctor I just want to know tht do Mifty Kit effect or not..?? My g.f is having a pregnency of less than 1 month and she started taking Mifty Kit from today. Do this will terminate the pregnancy as we dnt want any problems after tht we have consult from a chemist they told us tht it will definitely effect..!!

Mifty kits are combination of Mifepristone and Misoprostol tablets which are recommended for termination of pregnancy up to 9 weeks of Gestation. These are prescription medicines. The kit should be obtained by Obstetrician's prescription.
Tab. Mifepristone is to be followed after 24-48 hours by Tab. Misoprostol in divided doses. Usually within 24 hours, the abortion process starts; though occasionally it may be delayed up to 7 days. It is advisable to confirm the completeness of abortion by ultrasonography. Pregnancy test takes more than a week after abortion to become negative.
These medicines cause developmental abnormalities in the baby. Hence in case of failure of the medicines, the decision should not be reverted to continuation of pregnancy. Pregnancy should be terminated in such case by surgical technique like MVA aspiration.

Understand your concern.
Yes mifty kit is effective for terminate pregnancy.
But you should use under the guidance of gynecologist.
As it cause complication in some case.
It contain five tablet-
One tablet of Mifepristone 200 mg (One tablet) take orally after meal
After 24 hr of oral tablet, put four tablet of misoprostol 200 mg in to vagina under the supervision of gynecologist
With in 1-2 hours of punting tablet in to vagina , bleeding will come out and that is conception product/embryo.
Slight Bleeding and abdominal cramp may continue for 4-6 days.
Follow up USG is needed to confirm the incomplete abortion.
Incomplete abortion can be removed by D & C procedure
Aftre using kit take following advice:
Proper rest
Tablet meftal spas
Tablet ibuprufen
Healthy diet with adequate vitamin and mineral supplemets
Drink lots of drinks
Relaxation and stretching exercise
Take fruits like papaya, orange and pineapple
Maintain pelvic hygiene
Wear pure cotton loose inner wear
Use safer sex practice to avoid unwanted pregnancies.
Also check for foul smelling vaginal discharge for infection. That can be treated by antibiotics
