Are HCG Injections Advisable For A Fibroid Tumor In Uterus?

I am a 53 year old healthy female. I was recently diagnosed with a fibroid tumor the size of a cantaloupe! The doctor decided that I should wait until I go through menopause since I do not have any symptoms and it does not bother me. I have 2 questions: 1. How do I know when I have gone through menopause since because I haven t had a period in 9 years? I had an endometrial oblation in 2007. 2. Is it safe to take HCG injections with a fibroid this size? I am very heathy otherwise and not on any medications.

HI
Well come to HCM
I really appreciate your concern, if this is the fibroid condition then it needs to be treated accordingly it is least concern with the menopause, if the condition is asymptomatic and very well stable then it is nothing to worry, you are 53 and have no mentioned then you must be in menopause phase, hormone study could prove or confirm this hope this information helps.
