Are Cymbalta And Neulaptil Advisable For Severe PTSD?

Hi I have recently been diagnosed with severe ptsd by a psychologist and psychiatrist. When I went to my GP he mentioned a very new treatment available. I am currently taking cymbalta and neulactil. Do you know of any new medication available? I am going to domestic violence and sexual assault counselling. My symptoms are very severe and am not coping. Regards Joanne

well, the drugs choice are varied and depends the symptoms the patients showing. It requires a detailed clinical assessment and history work up to study the symptoms, and commenting on the decision regarding the treatment is beyond the scope of internet consultation.
I would advice for a second opinion if you are not satisfied with current treatment plan.
