Are Azithromycin And Monocef The Right Medications For Typhoid?

my age is 28. I have been suffering from typhoid. doctor gave me 20 azithromycin tablets for 10 days he also gave me 5 monocef 1g iv for first 5 days. after 10 days blood test was positive along with same previous values. I can t able to understand. please explain and suggest.

It is standard therapy for typhoid and in most cases this is efficient for it but sometimes there may be resistant type of bacteria so treatment may be prolonged.
