Applied Steri-strips On Deep Cut In Palm But Still Red And Painful
I fell on Tarmac two day ago and cut the palm of my hand quite deeply, it was cleaned but wasn t properly treated til the day after, I ensured it was cleaned properly and applied steri-strips to close the wound. It did join but is still quite red and is very painful still

Hi,
There is a risk that you may have an infected wound. Infection in the hand can spread quickly. Therefore, I suggest you go to the ED for examination and re-dressing. You may need antibiotics.
