Any Suggestion For Suffering From Severe Migraine?

My father is suffering from migraine since last 26 years.now its not under control. He is unable to do any work,going into depression,finger swelling,getting irritated soon,walking very slowly,body shivering.He is taking headset now along with clonotril.Smoking 5 to 6 ciggarretes per day.MRI report is normal.Please suggest me some ways so that he will be well soon.

In my opinion, your father is having psychiatric disorder complicated by migraine.
So better to consult psychiatrist and get done clinical examination and counselling sessions.
Try to identify stressor in his life and start working on it's solution.
He may need additional anxiolytic, anti depressant and anti psychotic drugs.
Ask him to follow these lifestyle modifications for better symptomatic relief.
1. Avoid stress and tension, be relax and calm.
2. Avoid excessive sun exposure.
3. Drink plenty of fluids orally and keep your self hydrated. Avoid oily and spicy food.
4. Take sound sleep of 6-8 hours.
Don't worry, he will be alright with all these.
