My son lives with me and has been diagnosed with Bi-Polar disorder or three or four occasions. He refuses medication or treatment of any kind and does not accept the diagnosis. He does not see anything unusual about his behavior. Hippa Laws to not allow me to be involved. What can I do to protect both of us,

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi
Thanks for using healthcare magic

I think, he needs admission in mental institute. Better to consult a psychiatrist and get him admitted there. This is the best way to protect both of you, otherwise in anger he could harm anyone. he needs immediate medical care, so call a mental hospital facility as soon as possible.

Thanks
