Any Possibility Of Increase Of Girls Height Even After Attaining Puberty ?
Sub:Possibility of increase of girls height even after attaining puberty.
Sir,
My daughter at present 12 1/2 yrs old and her height is 144 cms. She attained puberty at the age of 10 yrs.
On 15 Jan 2014 I have consulted an endocrinologist (Dr.K.D.Modi, Medwin Hospitals, Hyd. ) for advice for increase of my daughter's height and on examining the X ray of left palm and wrist of my daughter's,he has informed us that her bones have fused on attaining puberty at very ealy age and there is no chance /remedy for increase of her height even though she is 121/2 yrs old.
Is it true! Are there any chances /remedies. We have only daughter and worried the most since the Doctor informed us about no chances of an increase in her height.
We do hope on chances of an increase in her height. Since she is only 121/2 yrs old..
Kindly suggest /post the best things that can help in increase of height of my daughter in my mail address YYYY@YYYY

It is true that height cannot increase after fusion of the long bones of limbs.
Fusion of bones takes place during puberty marked by onset of menarche in females.
However, don't feel disheartened.
There is another method wherein height can be increased but it is painful and traumatic one,
It is an orthopedic procedure wherein the long bones of legs are broken artificially and then lengthened.
Lengthening is achieved by external prosthesis.
This procedure is done only at some centres.
You need to consult an orthopedician regarding this procedure.
There is no natural method to gain height after attaining puberty.
