Any Need To Take Anti Rabies Shot After Been Bitten By A Kitten?

Hi i was bitten by my kitten while i was giving her a bath and she doesnt have any antirabies shots.. whta should i do now?should i go see a doctor.. the bite mark is really small, its like a pinch from a needle.. please help i really worried that i would get rabies.. thanks..

Hi,
Thanks and welcome to HCM.
Even if there is slightest abrasion or bleeding you should take preventive vaccine.
I f you like you may observe the dog for 10 days.
during this period if dog is healthy ,not bitten any one and is not agitated and furious usually no fear of Rabies.
But for safety sake you may take ARV on 0,3 and 7th day.
If any of the above features develop you have to take shots on 14,30 and 90th day also.
