Any Ideas On How I Can Convince Her ?

ok I ve had my period for like 2 years now and pads are really uncomfortable and annoying to me and I wanted to try out tampons but how do I convince my mom that its ok to use tampons even if you re a virgin. She seems to think that you cant use tampons if you re a virgin and I ve told her but she wont believe me. any ideas on how I can convince her ? plz no my mom is not from the stone age shes from guatemala and was born and raised in a small town and people in that town were very ignorant

What I would do, since I am a mother myself with three girls is, have your mother go with you to a doctor's appointment and have him/her explain to your mother that there is no harm in using tampons and you may want to start with light flowing since they are a bit smaller, then you can find some information online (www.webmd.com) and you should be able to get some medical information on there pertaining to your situation.
