Any Ideas About Treating Child's Heat Rash On Face?

Hi, my 4.5 month old son has swollen lymph nodes on the back of his head, and seems to have a heat rash on the face, that is slowly starting to go on his body. He is eating and sleeping like usual, but I am concerned as this rash doesn t seem to be going away, and the swelling comes and goes behind the head. Also, he is scratching his head a lot when he is tired, to the point it sometimes bleeds. He does have some cradle cap and we are treating that with brushing and oil, occasionally a little anti-dandruff shampoo which seems to help. He had his 4 month old vaccines about 1.5 weeks ago, and was getting over a cold at the time. Any ideas?

Hello. In function of the rash and head itchy that you refer, atopic dermatitis and seborrheic dermatitis are possible diagnoses, but a baby with enlarged lymph
nodes should be seen by a pediatrician as soon as possible
to rule out infectious disease.I wish you good health.
