Post acne pigmentation can be a stubborn complication of acne.
Kojic acid, hydroquinone, glycolic acid, arbutin, Azaleic acid etc are skin lightening agents and are available on prescription of a dermatologist. In my practice I usually prescribe Azaleic acid gel 10 % or 20 % to my patients of hyperpigmentation. Azaleic acid is a natural product and is effective both for acne as well as post acne hyperpigmentation.
Chemical peeling with glycolic acid is a good option, nevertheless. You can continue with a few more sessions.
General measures like using a gel based sunscreen through out the day and limiting sun exposure also helps to lighten hyperpigmentation.
take care regards
