Homeopath Dr. Swati Ramkumar's  Response
Hello,
In case of hair loss from the top of the head, conditions like alopecia areata (auto immune disease), traction alopecia, scarred alopecia due to any underlying cause needs to be ruled out first. Also since you mention that you do not notice any growth of hair on the affected areas since almost 5 years, it becomes all the more important to find out the cause and thereby the prognosis (if hair can come back or no).
I would recommend you to visit a dermatologist (skin specialist ) for diagnosis.
Once we know the cause, we can treat it effectively with homeopathy.

Keep me posted about the progress...
