Anxiety, Difficulty Sleeping, Discomfort In Rectum And Scrotum, No Sex Drive. Cause?

for the past 2 months I haven't been able to sleep almost like I am scared too. I can not talk to people anymore and have ignored all of my friends and family members. My anxiety levels have become extremely intense to the point where I can no longer make it through a 4 hour shift at the local sandwich shop. I have an extremely weird, uncomfortable buzzing near my rectum and scrotum. Like a constant vibrating feeling from a phone. I've never had this feeling and use to be very calm. Will this go away? what could be the cause? I no longer have a sex drive, low libido, and so on. My body stays tense because of this and I feel like I am slowly killing my body if that makes since.

Psychiatrist 's  Response
Hi there ~

I understand your concern and I am glad you bring it up on a public forum. I also think that you might need to see a psychiatrist due to the fact that you have multiple problems that need to be elaborated as well as an examination done along with investigations ordered. I also feel that you may have depression although this needs to be corroborated with more history. Regarding the feelings and sensations in your rectum and scrotum you need to see a surgeon who can examine you and probably order tests before giving you a diagnosis. I hope this helps. Take care and have a lovely day!

Hello
Welcome to health care magic
I can understand your situation. I appreciate your effort to seek online support.

As per your details, you are possibly having underlying anxiety/depression. For this consult a psychiatrist for detailed evaluation. Following treatment strategies would be helpful-

1) Antidepressants like SSRIs (escitalopram, sertarline, paroxetine etc)
2) Antianxiety agents like clonazepam, lorazepam, alprazolam etc
3) Psychotherapy/ Counselling sessions
4) Relaxation techniques like yoga, meditation, deep breathing etc

Hope it helps
Good luck
