Anxiety attack, numbness in arms and heart, skipping of heart beats. Whats the treatment?

I had for the first time i think was an anxiety attack, i was numb in my arms and my heart was racing, it may have been because i thought i felt my heart skip a beat or something. I have never had a problem with anxiety before or any other related issues, i was wondering is there ways i can curb it so i can stop worrying.

You have not specified your age.Nevertheless it could possibly be anxiety disorder.But do consult a Physician/Cardiologist and get yourself a thorough health checkup done.Remember-prevention is always better than cure.Take care.
