Anxiety After Panic Attacks At Very Long Intervals. Advised Fludac. Is It Safe To Take Fludac Without Getting Addicted?

I had panic attacks at a very long intervals. The first attack happened 10 yrs back and the second happened after 9 yrs. Now after the second attack I am experiencing the feeling of anxiety almost on a monthly basis though it does not create a full fledged panic attack. My doctor has prescribed me Fludac 20mg and its been 7 days I am taking. Since I am aware about the side effects and addiction to the drug I worry negative results. Would like to know if I am safe taking the drug and can stop the drug in few months and my brain will not feel the deficiency of this drug/chemical.

Fludac is the drug from class fluoxetine and is usually prescribed for anxiety and depression. The maximum duration for the medicine is six months and like any other illness anxiety and depression needs to be treated for a particular time period otherwise it comes back again. Kindly take the drug initially for three months and then get evaluated by your doctor for the results. The addiction profile is very low and people can get off from the medicine once they are treated.
