Anal Fissure Was Operated. Given Proxym Gel To Apply Locally. Burning, Itching And Stretching Pain. Remedy?

Dear Doctor

I had an anal fissure 18 months back which was operated. It took me about 1.5 months to heal with antibiotics etc. Then I was detected with pain in coccyx region. I was given proxym gel to apply locally which actually burnt my skin (must have gone a bit inside the anus also). Since then for the past 1.5 years I have different kinds of sensations in my anus - burning, sometimes itching (not much though), stretching pain sometimes. Sometimes burning is more after motion for couple of hours or throughout the day. Sometimes I get dermatitis for which different types of creams have been applied. The burning also reduces sometimes by application of many creams. I have been examined - sigmoidoscopsy, MRIs etc. No major issue has been found. I still get burning. Infact, I just started taking myospaz two days back for some muscle issue and my burning in anus has increased. It seems I am sitting on fire. Even the gas I pass is full of heat. Can you help me?

Hello,
I have read your question,
Since you have undergone surgery , try to avoid constipation and drink plenty of water , butter and eat high fibre diet , and meditation and yoga like a position called "vajrasana" ( do it thrice a day for 10 mins).

Try the remedies i said above this should reduce the pain ,
If the problem persists , i suggest to consult your surgeon.

Wishing you a good health,
Dr.K.Sanga Reddy
