Hello Sharib Ahmad,
Welcome to Healthcare Magic forum.
The patients symptoms you describe are due to an illness of the mind called
hallucinations and delusions.
Hallucinations are images seen by the person without their existence.
Delusions are false unshaken beliefs.
Such a person having hallucinations and delusions can't control his mind and emotions and as a result can't be happy and lead a normal life unless he seeks treatment.
In many psychological diseases like
schizophrenia,
manic depressive illness etc such symptoms can coexist.
For a permanent treatment its very important that the patient be evaluated thoroughly by a
psychiatrist who is a specialist in diseases of the mind.
Once the diagnosis is confirmed by such a doctor, then there are various medications (anti psychotics, antidepressants etc)and behaviour therapies for treating such illness which can help the patient lead a normal and happy life.
Hope that answers your query.
Wishing you good health.
Regards
