Am i suffering from sleep apnea ?

It was a year ago when I had malaria falciperum... I woke up suddenly while sleeping and felt that I was about to die without oxygen. This happens to me occasionally i.e., I woke up from a deep sleep and found myself without oxygen (dying), it happens at intervals for about half an hour and then I go to deep sleep again. I didn t even knew the name of sleep apnea until I read an article today... Is that what I have? I am a 20 yr old girl. I am not at all obese n I have no cold etc that can obstruct breathing. I don t snore. I have occasional restless feeling...most of the time during day. I also have had palpitations in past. So I guess I might have heart problems or it might be the result of having a lot of antibiotics for malaria n typhoid???? plzzzzzzzz help... what has happened to me?
