Am I Having Infection In My Wrist?

hi i managed to get a sharp piece of wood about a quarter inch into my wrist and its very sore. There is no discoloration and it is very mildly swollen (i think). Am I fine? I was in a chicken barn so there was chicken feces literally everywhere. Do I have an infection or is it supposed to be sore? It hurts a lot to make a fist
