Am I Having Diabetic Symptoms Or Something Else ?

Hi! I m 29, and was diagnosed with Type 2 Diabetes after gestational diabetes . I was insulin dependant during pregnancy , but do not need it now. For the past few days, and a couple times a month it seems, I have been dizzy, lightheaded, nauseous, and cold/sweaty, and shaky, but not actually shaking, if that makes any sense. I havn t eaten much, the thought of food is revolting, and when i do eat, it only makes it worse. Please help! Is it the diabetes ?

Hello,

The symptoms of diabetes consist of increased intake of food, increased urination and feeling thirsty. I recommend you check your thyroid function tests as early as possible.
Thyroid disorders can cause the symptoms you mentioned. However, you must consult a doctor for complete evaluation of your case.

Hello..

I would suggest you to get your blood sugar levels checked to rule out diabetes. Because high level of blood sugar is associated with various short term and long term effects and by maintaining your blood sugar under control u could prevent all these!!
I would also suggest you to get ur thyroid levels checked as ur symptoms seems to be related to ur thyroid!!

Hope this helps!!
