Hi,

I can understand your concern for the redness ans darker looking of arm after waxing.

It is quite a common process which we see after waxing due to comparatively hot wax used at the application site. when this hot wax is applied it causes superficial mild burn over the affected area.

You should do cold compression with cold towels over the affected area. Apply a mild to moderate potency steroid cream such as Mometasone along with antibiotic in it such as Mupirocin or fucidin or gentamycin in it.

If at all burning sensation is present then can apply calamine lotion in a very thin layer for two times.

Protect the area from direct sun light as it can cause pigmentation over the affected area. The dark skin will peel off in next 7 -14 days of period. DO not worry.

Take care.
