Hi Carlos,

Welcome to HCM,

Your symptoms suggestive of either gastric reflux or it may be hiatus hernia, take only liquid diet and meet the doctor for endoscopy to rule out the above and start the treatment.

General & Family Physician Dr. Jitender Chauhan's  Response
Hello, welcome to HCM. You seem to be facing difficulty in swallowing called dysphagia. If you have a hard time swallowing once or twice, you probably do not have a medical problem. But if you have trouble swallowing on a regular basis, you may have a more serious problem that needs treatment. There are many disorders which can lead to this condition including esophagitis, diverticula, esophageal webs or tumors, etc. You must visit a gastroenterologist for further review. You may need a upper GI endoscopy. Wish you good health.
