Hello dear...
First of all remove all myths & misconceptions from your mind about masturbation.
In fact, Masturbation is completely normal & doesn't have any bad effect to the body and mind.
Regarding your query about Testosterone levels...the levels of testosterone is regulated by feedback mechanism & it has no relation with masturbation.
Moreover height of an individual is genetically determined & it has no association with masturbation.
So....there is no need to feel guilty or depressed about it.
Wishing you a good health.
Thanks & take care.

Hello and welcome to Healthcare Magic. Thanks for your query.

Masturbation is considered as a part of normal human sexual behaviour and is very common among young males in their teenage. It does not have any bad effects on health and does not lead to any medical problems.

Some people have many wrong ideas about masturbation - that it causes ill effects on health like nervous weakness, reduced energy, etc. or growth problems or sexual problems like impotence in the future. All this is not true and these are just myths and misconceptions.

Since you seem to be having severe anxiety and depressive ideas due to your worries, excessive guilt and even suicidal ideas, I would advise you to consult a psychiatrist for professional help.

Wish you all the best.

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

Your final height is primarily determined by genetics and influenced by diet and the presence of any longterm illnesses.
There have been no studies that have demonstrated that masturbation affects height.

It is unlikely that any thing that your history of masturbation has resulted in your present height.
Though it is not possible to alter your final height, yoga and pilates have been thought to improve core strength and posture and they may be helpful to you.
It is important to remember that there is more to a person than their height.

Depression is serious and if you are having depressed , especially with ideas of harming yourself, you need to speak to an adult as soon as possible.

I hope this helps

I feel very sad for you since you are harbouring all wrong notions regarding masturbation and testosterone levels.
The fact is that masturbation and sexual activity in general  have no significant effect on testosterone levels. Testosterone  levels involve several factors, such as age, time of day and physical activity.
As far as growth plates are concerned, they have no relation with your masturbation.

ALL of us, stop growing around age 18-21. I understand your concern about your height. Our society is obsessed with men who are tall. From actors, to super heroes, musicians, business people, etc. All are looked upon a successful when tall, less successful when of shorter height.

To simply say; do not worry about your height issues, or embrace your height issues, would be an insult to you! Self-esteem has to be built, not thought. The best way you can achieve unbreakable self-esteem is to join a gym and began a lifetime program of exercises. It does not have to be strenuous as bodybuilding. Simply strength training. Weightlifting will make you stronger, more massive, than any one else around you. Having strength gives you amazing posture, endless self-confidence and admiration of others; no matter what your height.

It is less about growth plates and more about genetics. If you have tall parents then it is likely you to will be tall. You can also be taller if you eat healthily and dont smoke and do regular exercises,as you still have few years to add few inches to your height.
Enjoy your life and for god sake don't mess it up.
