Psychiatrist 's  Response
hi.
spasmoproxyvon is a brand of medicine containing dicyclomine hydrochloride, acetaminophen and propoxyphene napsylate. the last one is an opioid, with an abuse potential.
now the problem with opioids is that they have significant physical withdrawal symptoms like agitation, increased tears, salivation, reduced sleep, abdominal cramps, diarrhoea and vomiting; to name a few. this provides a significant hindrance to quitting opioids when the person wants to.
i would suggest you to contact a qualified psychiatrist and discuss the matter with him. under proper medical supervision, now it is possible to wean a patient off opioids, safely and effectively. you would also need a few therapies like Motivation Enhancement therapy and Relapse prevention therapy to help you stay away from the substance once you have quit them successfully.

hope you have a healthy future ahead
