this was my pathology report from my placenta
FINAL DIAGNOSIS:
TERM PLACENTA, 40 WEEKS, 270 GRAMS, LESS THAN 10TH PERCENTILE
A. UNREMARKABLE AMNION AND CHORION.
B. VILLOUS MATURATION APPROPRIATE FOR GESTATIONAL AGE.
C. FOCAL ACUTE DECIDUITIS.
D. UNREMARKABLE THREE VESSEL UMBILICAL CORD.


am i at risk in future pregnancies?

Hi, It means there is slight inflammation in the placenta. THis is quite normal during this period,. all the other features are normal according to the baby s development., Nothing to worry about.
