Acne problem on face, lips and forehead. Treatment?

hello i am twenty years old,male,student,single i had severe acne in 17 years old for about 8 to 9 months but i used ritan(retan) in tablet form for 8 months, as this drug i can treat my acnes but then my acnes are relapse and continue until now now i have some acnes on my face specially around lips and forehead area what is main cause of this condition? how i can treat this? what is your suggestion? how i can preserve myself from this condition? please help me?thanx

hi,thanks for writing here.Acne is a part and parcel of youngsters like your age.As age advances from puberty onwards some hormonal changes takes place in our body,these hormones lead to oiliness of face leading to secondary infection,leading to acne.Acne treatment always along running and you have to take your treatment even after subsiding acne,so it is better to consult a dermatologist ,Dont take any tablets without doctor consultation.Just try to avoid applying cosmetics on face,also wash your face 2 to 3 times ,you can use mild face wash,take care of your dandruff also.
