Acne Over Face. Had Relocation. Applying Gel, Not Getting Better. Suggest Antibiotic Or Gel Which Can Help?

hello doc,
i am having tremendous problem of acne all over the face,which i never faced before.the reason might be the change in location from one state to another and the weather conditions.Consulted a doctor in apollo hospital,and she askd me to apply deriva c gel and take minoz od at night daily,but i not finding any considerable changes.Can u plz suggest me a good antibiotic or any gel that can suit me

Hi,Acne problem can occur with change of climate. Ur medicine is fine,minocycline n adaplene r good. U r not mentioning the duration of treatment .If u already complete ur 3 wks than line of treatment could be changed.U stop all those n start taking cap Isotretinion under supervision of expert and also try nadifloxacin or combinbination of clindamycin n adaplene or benzoyal peroxide. Exact doses mentioned after seeing the severity of lesion.If there is humidity than wash ur face 4-5 times a day. Drink lots of water n liquid. Hope this will help u.
