Acidity. Taking Omprazol. Any Side Effects? Hard Stool If Not Taking Medication. Suggestions?

Sir I am taking omoprazol 20 mg last 8 yers for acidity, is there any side effect?
3 times endoscopy for my acidity but there is no ulsaric symtom, but If I not taking medicine for acidity my stool is being very hard and always my mouth is full of different tested acid, what should I do? I took once pilotrip kit (a course of medicine for chronic acidity)

Thanks for posting your query on this website. I can fully appreciate your concern for problem.

I must admit that you should have, long back, advised a 10-14 days' course of Pylokit/HP Kit/LTC Kit/H.pylori Kit. Start it now and take it for 14 days; thereafter, resume Omeprazole 20mg twice daily before meals for about a month; then, reduce the dose to once a day before breakfast and continue it for another 3months.

Also, do take 3 tablets' course of Tab Albend(400mg) - one tablet on alternate days (to be chewed and then swallowed with water).
