My 11 months old baby got a result of urine report as cloudy appearance, acidic reaction and plenty of pus cells. what does it mean? Is it very abnormal? what should i do for that? what is the reason for this type of infection? by Mrs. Sarada

Hi.. If the test was done for evaluation of fever, then the reports are suggestive of urinary tract infection and he would probably need antibiotics... The source of infection may be lack of personal hygeine....

pus in urine means there is a urinary tract infection which he is already diagnosed for and the number indicates the severity of the infection and the number u stated means the infection is mild and can be easily treated at home using an antibiotic like ciprofloxacin 500 mg 3 times daily
