Hi and thanks for the query,
The duration of the pain shall differ depending on the degree of trauma. However, pain lasting only 10 minutes after the fall is an indirect indication of the intensity or gravity of this condition. I suggest you continue taking the anti inflammatory drugs in an appropriate doses for about a week.
Addition of a topical anti inflammatory drug could be helpful in accelerating the healing process. Under these circumstances, the pain persisting above ten years of appropriate treatment would actually be rare. If pain intensifies, or persists despite treatment, this might deserve you consult your physician again for a proper medical evaluation and management.
thanks and best regards,

Hi friend,
Welcome to Health Care Magic

Simple sprain is relieved in a couple of days
Injury takes a couple of weeks.
Orthopaedic examination and X-rays may be necessary, if there is no relief by that time / now, it it gets any worse...

Take care
Wishing speedy recovery
God bless
Good luck
