Abrasion In Cornea Causing Dry And Watery Eyes With Blurred Vision. Any Solution Other Than Artificial Tears?
I had a hysterectomy on Monday. Was released on Tuesday. My problem is my EYE. They say it is an abrasion on my cornea. Eye feels gritty and dry, yet is watery. Vision is blurry. Very bothersome. They gave me artificial tears and that's all. Anything else I can do? How does this happen?
Hi, I had gone through your query and understand your concerns. You should not be worried too much. if your eye symptoms are not relived then u can use artificial tear in gel form( ex: lacrygel, cornegel) 2 to 3 times in a day if it doesn't come down for that also i usually put my patients on bandage contact lens for 5-7 days.u can try cornegel 3 times / day if it doesn't subside u can re consult your ophthalmologist. wishing u speedy recovery.
