Abdominal pain when changing position or getting up

I have been having a clutching sort of pain in my left abdomen above hips, sometimes when I get up from a sleeping position or when I change my sleeping position. It s difficult to straighten up. The pain however lasts only for a few seconds. I don t get them when I am lying idle. Or when I am sitting standing or walking
