Abdominal Pain After Urination Followed By Severe Diarrhea With Blood. Normal Scan, Blood, Urine And Stool Tests. Cause?

abdominal pain after passing urine at 1 or 2 in the morning very serve dubled up pain this is followed by server diahhrea and passing blood and this lasts a couple of hours and this occurs every 6 to 8 months go to bed with no problems or health issues go of to sleep and the wake up go to pass urine and the pain starts i have been refered for scan and that was clear also blood and urine and stool sample all come back clear

Hi,

You have a typical problem as the incidence occurs once in a while as you have mentioned.
Need to go for passing urine followed by bloody diarrhea with pain in abdomen and the reports of investigations are normal.
The commonest cause I can think about is sort of a hemangioma or so in the colon that bleeds to cvause pain and bloody diarrhea.
This is not found on routine tests.
You need the following in such a situation:
Colonoscopy immediately after passing bloody diarrhea can find the cause.
CT angiography can also help to know the cause.
You may need repeated investigations to find the cause and get treated accordingly. Be ready to get emergency investigations being done if you have another attack.
