Abdominal Bloating, Pressure And Discomfort. Due To Drinking Juice Of Fruits And Vegetables?

I just started juicing approximately 2 weeks ago using mainly apples, beets, ginger, limes, carrots, spinach and kale. Lately, after sitting down at work during the day I get extreme abdominal bloating and pressure and discomfort, it seems to be better when not sitting down in an office. It hurts so bad I had to leave work early. Could it be from consuming all these raw veggies?

Hi, thanks for using healthcare magic

There are some vegetables that are associated with an increased risk of bloating such as beans, onions, turnips, brussel sprouts, carrots, broccoli and cabbage.Of these you mentioned the carrots.

Bloating may also be related to constipation, GERD, overeating, lactose intolerance, food allergies.
You may want to reduce the vegetable intake to determine if this is contributing to your symptoms, if it does not improve , consider the use of medication indicated for GERD.
If the symptoms persist or worsen , then you may want to visit your doctor for an assessment.

I hope this helps
