Abdomen Bloats After Eating, Constipation, Pain, Taken Enema, Gastric, Nausea
Every time I eat, my abdomen bloats and I look about 8 months pregnant . I have been in pain from my stomach down the left side of my abdomen. I thought it might be constipation , so I used an enema. I only passed the liquid solution and no fecal matter. Today I had very stringy mucous in my stool (very little of both) when I did have a bowel movement. I have a lot of gas and nausea too.
Your symptoms might be attributed to acidity or indigestion. Stress can also cause and worsen symptoms.
Please do the following:
Avoid spicy, oily and fatty food. Avoid carbonated beverages, tea and coffee. Avoid smoking and alcohol. A course of antacids like pantoprazole might help. Drink warm water at regular intervals. Regular exercise 30 minutes a day 5 days a week. Avoid lying down or exercising immediately after a meal. Wait for at least 3 hours after a meal, before lying down or exercising.
If none of the measures work, visit a gastroenterologist who might do an endoscopy or colonoscopy if necessary.
Hope this information was helpful to you.
Regards, Dr. Divya Kuttikrishnan.
