Many hormonal disorders can cause delayed periods. High prolactin levels can be seen in some cases of Hypothyroidism which will delay period. It can taken weeks to months. Kindly get screened for PCOD ovarian cysts if you have delayed periods as well, once you confirm you're not pregnant.
