9 Yr Old Suffering From Headache Regularly. What Could Be The Reason?
My son (9 years) is suffering from headache on the top of his head (almost within a radius of 2.5-3 inches) regularly since 15 days. During the headaches , he usually feel sleepy. He is otherwise healthy and never experienced such pain before. (We have just tested him for eyes and he needed specs for mild power but still the headache continues). What could be the reason?
good evening, headache could be due to multiple reasons- referred pains from decayed tooth, middle ear infection, sinusitis, dehydration, migraine , tension headaches , hypertension etc. so already his vision in checked, so look for any decayed tooth, middle ear infection, check for fever and rule out sinusitis, rule out middle ear infection, he should take rest and hydrated well, lastly get his blood pressure checked( even though keeping in mind he is 9 yrs old.) . if all these are normal, need not worry, try with brufen syp , he ll be fine.
