82 Years. Nausea, Dizziness And High BP Which Lasted For 3 Hours. Doubted Hearing Heart Murmur. Serious?

My father was out golfing. He had nausea & dizziness lasting about 3 hours. He's 82. His blood pressure was apparently high but low the next day when he saw his own doctor. The doctor he saw on the day said he thought he heard a murmur but the one the next day didn't. I'm very worried now. He's going to have a check at the hospital soon but I'm wondering if they should go sooner.

Hello,

You father is an elderly person.
Nausea and dizziness might be due to increase in the blood pressure at that time due to reasons unknown. It is natural to have a systolic murmur with high blood pressure and it might be transient.
Anyways your needed a thorough and complete health check up and especially cardiac evaluation.
The sooner the better.
