Hi
Welcome to HCM
Read your prob. first you have to rule out its cause, as normally it doesnt happen. so you get stool test, CBC, ESR as it is due to infection also. you have to consult with surgeon n rule out any sinus or fissure as it happrn in this condition also. meanwhile you should start syp LIV-LIV 10ml two times a day n tab oflox100mg two times a day for 10 days. it helps to subside this diease.

Hi,

Welcome to HCM.

You have not mentioned whether his stool examination was done. If it was not done first thing to do is get the stool examination done.
If there is positive finding in the stool, then he has to be treated accordingly.
If stool examination is within normal limits, then allergy to some food item has to be looked into. Usually kids are allergic to milk. Check that out.
Meanwhile encourage him to have plenty of fluids, as loose stools can lead to dehydration which is dangerous.

Hello;
welcome to HealthcareMagic
If the stools your son is passing is smelly and watery it will be important to rule out infection;so first get his stools tested.Secondly stop lactulose as it is not helping him in any way and you can start on a probiotic till you get the report and you can use anything like syrup-Nutrolin-B or Rinifol which is a combination of multivitamin with lactobacillus.If the stools revert to normal with the help of probiotic the fine or your son may need to take antibiotics if the stools test shows any sort of infection so take him to another doctor or Paediatrician.
Wish him a speedy recovery
Thanks
