Pediatrician 's  Response
Hi,

Thanks for writing to health care magic.

Is his weight in kilograms?

Even if the weight is in pounds your child is over weight. Regular exercise is important. Ask him to actively take part in sports. Was he ever investigated for his overweight. A physical examination and further investigations are important.

That pressure sensation behind the sternum could be because of various problems like reflux esophagitis, cardiac problems etc.

Further investigations are required to arrive at a diagnosis.

Continue to ask further queries as required.
Hope this helps.
Take care.
