7 Year Old Child, Fever, Vomiting, Diarrhea With Blood. Causes And Treatment?
My 7 yr old sob started running fever , 100. & up on tues. He threw up yesterday morning, & has had diarrhea since. He is ob the toilet A LOT, I. I want to say 12 times yesterday & again today, but today it looks a little red in there idk if its blood & this kid only had soup yesterday & today, everything is literally running threw him. YYYY@YYYY

this is case of acute dysentery .
management
start cotrimoxazole orally .
oral rehydration solution
syp zinc 20 mg /day
paracetomol for fever
take sample of stool for Routine and microscopy
if no response found change cotriamoxazole to fluoroquinolone after two day .
final management will depend on stool examination
get well soon

Use a antibiotic twice daily for 7 days.
Allow a milk free diet and probiotic syrup.
Add yogurt to his diet and give him plenty of rehydrating fluids.
