65year Old Having High Blood Pressure. Is There Any Major Problem ?

at 12:42 this morning my blood pressure was 206 over 103 and 3 min. later it as 198 over 96. 10 min. later it was 154 over 98. I just took it now and it is 172 over 98. Is this a major problem? I am 65 . 5 5 and around 186 lbs.

Yes Two issues One is that your blood pressure above expected at all times and Few of these readings are tpoo high.Also your BP variability is very much. So you need to see your physician at the earliest for change in meds or starting of medicines

Welcome to HealthcareMagic.
These BP readings are definitely high and need to be controlled.You should take antihypertensive drug and if you are already taking one , you need a higher dose or change of drug.
I advise you to not to check your BP so frequently as it would cause unnecessary anxiety which in turn can raise the BP.
I advise you to visit your Physician and get examined for change of drug.
