Pulmonologist 's  Response
hello morningstar382

thanks for choosing our forum

i have read your problem and i would advice you to consult a pulmonologist at the earliest. i would recommend you to get an evaluation for lung carcinoma for your father as his age, lifestyle habits and symptoms are in favor of carcinoma. also get an ultrasound abdomen to look for state of liver for alcohol related disease or features suggestive of malignancy.

i would recommend you not to delay this further.
wishing your father a good health and success

thanks
