Currently her weight has increased probably due to reduced activity. It would have been better if you had mentioned her age, type of stroke, other medical problems that she has and her list of medications. This would have helped us in formulating a good opinion. Many a times stroke results in residual paralysis. This is usually the effects of ineffective physiotherapy. The age, the size of stroke and other medical problem do contribute to residual effects one can have after a stroke. At this point of time, the best approach would be to treat her convulsions with proper medications, reduce her pains and give her the best quality of life. Hope this answers your query.
